The current Social Change Australia staff list
Ric Sissons - former Director
Ric Sissons was founder of Pluto Press Australia and a co-founder one of Social Change Media. He left to start up a new, smaller, agency under the name Limelight Communications.
Before starting up Pluto Press in Australia in 1983 Ric had been Sales and Marketing Director for Pluto Press in London for five years. He was also involved with a number of British political weekly papers and magazines.
He is also an author of cricket books. His book 'The Players' is a seminal work in cricket literature. It won the prestigious English Cricket Society Silver Jubilee Literary Award in 1988.

Beverly Duffy - former Campaign manager

Prior to joining Social Change Media, Beverly worked as a researcher at the Public Interest Advocacy Centre, the Ethnic Affairs Commission of NSW and at the Law School of the University of New South Wales. She now works for ................
While at SCM Beverly produced, among othert things, two acclaimed magazines, Alive and Deadly and Langwij Comes to School for the Commonwealth Department of Employment, Education and Training. The magazines were designed to raise awareness about Aboriginal English and the revival and maintenance of Indigenous languages in Australia.
Beverly recently wrote a manual for community workers about public advocacy for the Public Interest Advocacy Centre.

Peter Moss - former editor / copywriter
Peter is a highly skilled and creative copywriter with many years of experience on social change, union and superannuation projects. At SCM he was editor of the Federal and NSW journals of the LHMU, one of Australia's largest unions, and produced magazines for a number of superannuation funds. Peter set up the SCM office in Melbourne in 1995.

Susanne Briggs - former media manager
Before coming to SCM, Susanne had worked with the international environmental organisation, the World Wide Fund for Nature in Australia, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. She had also developed the WWF UK campaign over mining in Antarctica and worked on the campaign against the Thailand Government to stop illicit wildlife trade.
At SCM Susanne worked on media campaigns for the Attorney-General's department, UNICEF and mental health campaigns for the Department of Human Services and Health.

Alison Utley - former art director
Alison was an art director whose experience included working on magazines about superannuation, occupational health and safety and the environment. Her work in the education area won a number of awards.

Penny O'Donnell - former Pluto Press Assistant Publisher
Penny joined SCM in March 1994. She was the part-time Assistant Publisher for Pluto Press.
Penny is a writer, broadcaster and now academic. She currently teaches journalism and social communication at the University of Technology, Sydney. Penny taught radio production in Nicaragua from 1987-1990 and successfully completed a Masters of Communication in Mexico City in June, 1993.
In 1995, Penny was the co-author with Lynette Simons of "Australians Against Racism - Testimonies from the anti-apartheid movement in Australia".
