Why would we need a consultant?
All organisations need to change at some time or other either to increase their capacity or simply adapt to new environments. Many resolve to change and some make extensive plans.
But many people find change both difficult to implement or adopt. Often a management's position is undermined during a changes process, being both the agent of change and having a vested interest in that change. This is where an external consultant can help; acting as an independent and objective mediator or facilitator.
Warwick's personal style is empathetic and conciliatory. He believes that workplace change is best achieved through a "truth and reconciliation" approach. This involves getting people to share their problems and recognise both their common interests and differences. Warwick then facilitates cooperation by encouraging all parties to give ground to reach a common position that everyone can own and support.
